Bluestreak Figure Skating Acceleration
At BlueStreak we understand the fundamentals each figure skater needs to compete at their full potential. The Bluestreak Figure Skating Acceleration Program uses science-based training to increase strength, power, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, balance, and flexibility. By focusing on these areas a skater will spend more time fine-tuning movements on the ice as opposed to spending time “getting into shape.”
Through our program an average athlete will see improvements of 2-4 inch increase in vertical jump, a decrease of 0.2 seconds in a 40-yard sprint, 33% improvement in foot speed, and a 50% reduction in recovery rates. These results demonstrate the difference each skater will experience in hang time to fully rotate each jump, stamina to complete each program as strong as they started and rate of recovery to maximize strength and power throughout the program. This program offers the most flexible schedule and covers every aspect of training. The training should take about six to eight weeks to complete and best results are seen if you train 2-3 days a week over that period of time.
